    First time ever eating rabbit....

Eating rabbit can make a person sick. Tularemia will cause fever and skin lesions. An old time remedy, called for removing the left tendons before cooking, to avoid becoming sick. Apparently the left tendons harbored the infectious agents. Maybe something to do with anatomy and biology of rabbits.

Retrospective Look at Meat Birds: Chicken of Tomorrow (Video)

"The Pullet Motel." "Rooms by the hour." I think industrialization made it's way into every part of our lives since the late 1800's. Hmm..square and rectangle v. round and oval? I don't think I've seen a square tree with rectangle branches. They could be like the 4 leaf clover most just don't spend enough time looking for them. I would think a birds anatomy developed to take advantage of the round nature of tree branches...

    Doghouse Coop Conversion ideas

I would stick to the free section on Craigslist for a dog house to convert. I think $80 is a lot. To build with new plywood, 3 sheets $30. 2x4's or 2x6's can be scrounged, look for deck replacements. You might have to keep an eye out and search often, but persistence will pay off. who knows, you...

Don't forget to check for "slaughterhouse" rules just in case you wanted to do your own meat processing. Some cities or towns may not regulate poultry but may regulate slaughter of animals.
