    I can only have 4 laying hens in my city. Thinking about Buffs,Barred Rocks,and Sex Links. I love all of these and know they get along together. Any suggestions?

    How does one keep chickens from eating Roses?

    You might check your roses for Japanese Beetles. Here in Kansas City they have been in their hatchling stages, your chickens might be going after them. If they are the roses will be damaged because of the flocks pecking to get the bugs. Just a suggestion.

    Got the coop together today. Construction seems decently sound, swapped out the screws that came with it for Deckmasters that were 1/4'' longer than what came with the kit. Pretty solid after. Can't wait to get my Buffs to fill it!
