    Yes. Here she is a chick (we lost the others due to raccoon while free ranging). They grew super fast and do not go up on a perch, but like to lay in the ground.

    Hi! I was told my tractor supply chick was a white leghorn but she is getting HUGE and hasn’t started laying yet (4 months old). Could she be a different breed? Also- I know my darker 2 chicks are Rhode Island reds, but any clue what the lighter 2 are and black one? Thanks so much!

    Thank you! It was fairly simple- just some 2x4’s and a piece of plywood. A few rolls of chicken wire and done!

    She did pass half in her shell and half out. She was pushing to get out but couldn’t do it. I didn’t take her out to see if her yolk had been absorbed- I was afraid that if it had I would blame myself for not helping more. It’s been a rough morning. Never thought I would be so sad. :(
