Brewers yeast recommendations?

Hello! After a rough summer trying to hatch, I bit the bullet and purchased 5 white layer ducklings. They are now 10 days old and ADORABLE! It’s been a long time since we we had ducks, and I’m rusty. They’re on non medicated chick feed (pic attached) and have experimented with some treats- mealworms and peas. I’m reading that I need to add brewers yeast to their diet and am wondering if you have any recommendations on brands & amount. My kids and I love them dearly and want to make sure we are doing our best. Thanks in advance for your knowledge!

I’d recommend looking at the labels of what’s available close to you. They need 55 mg/kg of niacin daily. Some brands have higher levels than others so go with the one with the highest level and best price.

What a nice set up!!!
As ducklings I would just sprinkle some in there food daily(that is what I did...I never did measurements). As adults just give it to them 2-3 times a week(sprinkle). Ducklings feet are very tender so giving them brewers yeast at this age is must do kinda thing. Once they get older is when they start not needing it as much. Here is a link to the brand I use:

This is the size I got too. There are different sizes, but I just got this one and still have it(about half way there and I have been using it for like 6 months). The price has gone down to since I got it so it might be a deal! Good luck with those little feathered pigs!!!

Thank you! We have plans to add a chicken wire roof and turn it into a run when they’re big enough to go outside. They are so spoiled!

I’d go with hard ware cloth it’s the only thing that will keep out predators, chicken wire will only keep poultry in nothing out.

Thank you! It was fairly simple- just some 2x4’s and a piece of plywood. A few rolls of chicken wire and done!
