I would definitely bring everyone, mom and eggs and/or babies inside. I always bring my broody hens inside, that way I can keep a close eye on them, and don't have to worry about something dreadful happening. I have had chicks drown trying to get water, and other hens attacking the babies. It...
I found a good way to get the Vitamin E into the chicken. I bought the one that says Vitamin E in "prelacaps" with Selenium. It's easy to make a small incision into the the perlecap with something sharp. I squeeze the oily stuff into the open end of a syringe. Then I cook some elbow macaroni. I...

Here she is watching me work. She's doing better the only problem is this she is getting stronger she thinks that she can do things and then she tries and she can't and when I pick her up she doesn't want me to put her down so she like sort of Claws and climbs all over me and that gets to be a...

She Isn't t going to die anytime soon I don't think but it's hard to watch she doesn't seem to be unhappy however and when I hold her she burrows into me and makes these really sweet little cooing sounds. I think she likes all the extra attention.
We had a couple days that felt like she was responding. But the past couple days she seems to be declining. It's so sad having a chicken that's dying. She doesn't seem to be in any pain but it's painful to see it, to watch the process, loss of function, loss of quality, loss of joy. Maybe...
