    hole cracked into air sac in egg

    a hole was recently made into the air sac of one of our fertilized chicken eggs. it's about 1-18 days in. the membrane separating the air sac to the chick is still intact but I was wondering if the membrane would dry out and kill the chick. will it be okay?
