Im not sire what it has, just seen that’s what bubbles in eye usually means. Baby chick seems to sneeze and had one swollen red eye, later that calmed down and he could open them both but they seem red. With small bubbles.
UPDATE: the one closer in the picture died. The second one is still going tuff. Eats fine, has grown a bit but his left eye is red and the right eye is closed at times still. What can i put on his eye to help? Is there any home remedies i could use to improve them or just give it time? I hate...
I do not have any little packets for the water but I did put some sugar in there. I plan on switching it to plain water when i get back from school. I should have some yogurt as well so i will provide that to them.
Got them in here now, both have developed that red eye though. One has it slightly opened the other closed most times. They eat fine though and drink. I think they developed the issues after mom started leaving them. Anything i could put on their eye? Maybe eye drops or just leave them?
Yes so they are currently in a big pen as i didn’t have a brooder setup yet but i have taken them from momma already. He opens it due to sickness though. That’s what i think at least cause I’ve been raising heat lamp at different hieghts and it does it no matter what. Starts chirping a bit when...
I have these 2 chicks from 4. The other 2 passed as they were week and mom started abandoning them. So I ended up with only these 2. One seems to be doing fine but i got this one here that seems like it Opens its beak to breathe. And then I noticed it developed that red spot on it’s eye since...
Sunday 9/11/22 some time around 9am a neighbors dog attacked my chickens. Got one of my rooster’s and shook him as you could imagine when a dog bites. Rooster fortunately survived but was not moving at all other than moving it’s neck to eat. It’s now Friday and he’s been getting up and walking...
Sorry im not home yet since this post but will send some when i get there. But no when i got him only his beak was chipped with a missing toenail. But the pin fight that caused that was a long time ago so he had been in great shape already. When i got him i pinned him but had some encounters...
Sorry i was typing pretty fast but the rooster that is full gamefowl is running. Around a year old. The stag is a cross between an asil and bantam. So he’s not full game. All the roosters i got are normal chickens. But most of my hens are gamefowl. Most of my roosters would just ignore him other...
I was wondering can Gamefowl roosters go bad? I got a rooster from a friend which was said to be good other than its chipped beak. I brought him home and had to keep my other roosters pinned as he would cause a fight.
I have had him for 3 months now and just a week ago he got into a pin...
I got really have 4 but the 4th one doesn’t ever engage but is protective.
Yeah in actuality we have 4 roosters and then a couple youngins that i know may be roosters. The 4th one never fights though that’s why i didn’t mention him but we haven’t gotten rid of these 4 because 2 of them were...
I imagine the 2 normal breed roosters will end up giving up or running but the gamefowl rooster has been in a pen fight with past owner so don’t want to get him messed up even worse
i have 3 rooster’s. 2 of them get along but they hate a new guy i brought in that is gamefowl. You guys think there is a way to have the layer or normal chickens to stop fighting the gamefowl? I’ve been thinking of letting them loose but tieing their 2 legs together so they can’t kick. Obviously...
UPDATE: today was 17 day going off of the june 25th as starting day but I decided to put them in lockdown yesterday night and until getting home just now surprise surprise i got 2 that have piped and a couple i seen wiggling around. I know humidity has been high these few days so might be why it...
