Hello pudgysimba,
I would recommend a insect fogger. I have been using one around my property for 2 years now and every time I use it I see a dramatic decrease in insects on my property. They can be a little pricey, but I believe it is worth the money.

Hello TherryChicken,
I'm not sure but it might be vent gleet.
Here's a great website to treat this if it is vent gleet: http://www.tillysnest.com/2012/12/vent-gleet-prevention-and-treatment.html
You can get incubators at many places, Tractor Supply, Amazon, or Agway.

Yes this roo is only 8 months old so I guess hes a nooby! I'll keep an eye out if anything happens with the hens wings and maybe separate the hens from the rooster for alittle bit.
Thank you for your reply, and no my hens to do not have it quite that bad. The feathers aren't completely gone, just down to like a stump. I can upload a picture tomorrow, I cant now because they are roosting.
Hello,

Thank you for the reply, I was planning on incubating 15- 20 eggs at a time. I was hoping I could make a few bucks by maybe selling the chicks to Tractor Supply or Agway. There are lots of options, I thought this one seemed nice for the price.
