I just got my first egg from my rhode island red on Saturday at about 2:00pm, so I was expecting one by at least 5:00pm yesterday. Now it is Monday at 6:30pm and still haven't gotten a 2nd egg ?? The only reason I thought of was that she didn't get enough calcium in her grower/starter feed ?
I've watched them go in there at night, and she just goes straight to her corner of the coop. And she can definitely fly...I have seen her fly over a 4ft fence, and just flew up to their coop tonight.
