How many eggs should ex battery hens lay?

Jh to Nenad - My guess is that your ex-battery hens are spent production birds. They are bred to lay like crazy for a certain period of time. Then, they are are sold to you or others or sent to processing plants were they end up in soups, pot pies and chinese cuisine.

HELP with ventilation please, frostbite on comb

I think your ventilation is fine, I would not open the door. I live in the same locale as you, but in S.Car.. I would not worry about minor frostbite only a little drop in fertile eggs. And if your are adjusting your feed program, do so. Feed alot of whole and cracked grain at evening feeding...

    Help my broody hens

I would think you would probably some shell or raw egg residue left if you have an egg-eater. My first thought is that you could have a problem of the reptile eating the eggs.

    OEG yellow legs

OEG game standard breed is white legged. American Games is what it sounds like that you have. The yellow legged stag(cockerel) is probably a strain(breed) of three different strains or more. And the pullet is still a different strain of American Gamefowl again.

    Accessibility to Egg Boxes

I have an idea that might support the tunnel idea. Johnny's Seed offers pre-bent wire hoops, in which form a tunnel for frost protection. They are covered by a product called Remay@, this material is ultra-light, woven, somewhat transparent fabric. The grass within will keep growing, will not...

Help me identify my 'so called Black Shamos'

Ideal Poultry will NOT message or call me back on what they have in their breeding pen that they sell as Black Shamos, but you see what I got. You can bet I will never buy from them again. I am really disgusted with them.
