    Comb injury

Thanks. I will keep a close eye on it. I have 7 girls and six nesting boxes. They have a favorite. It may have been over that.

    Comb injury

I found that one of my girls has an injured comb. Not bad but there is some specks of blood on the straw. She seems fine. I’m just wondering if I need to do a topical ointment treatment or leave it alone for now. I’m not able to isolate her which I know is the best thing but it’s not possible.

I have a small coop with a 4’ x4’ board perch in the corner and a 2”x4” perch. They prefer the flat boar surface

I have a small coop with a 4’x4’ flat board perch area plus a 2”x4” perch. They prefer the flat board surface as it allows them to look out of a small window. I clean it everyday. Just wondering if this is healthy for them.
