Eggs

When they are darn well and ready!! :gig
What all and how exactly are you feeding?
Do you free range?
This late in the year, onset of lay can be delayed a bit due to short days.
..assuming you are in the northern hemisphere.
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

I live in the beautiful mountains of wv. Starting to get pretty cold at nights. I free feed dumor crumbles for now. Am switching to pellets soon. They get oyster shells and grit. They free range 3-5 hrs a day. I call them in with treats of fruits and veggies. Some oats and mealworms. My girls seem really happy.

Grower or layer or?....what are the protein and calcium percentages?
Layer. My girls are 21 wks old tomorrow not sure of the protein and calcium percent. Emptied bag in to other container. I’ll check on next bag. What should it be

How long have you fed the layer?
Layer is usually 16% protein.
Starting layer before they are actually laying can slow maturation, and thus onset of lay. .....coupled with the ever shortening days, might be awhile before you see eggs.

Here's some tips on what to watch for:
