    Thanks I’m hoping it’s a pullet! The size was kind throwing me off and some of the neck feathers are pointy but at 6 months my blue laced red Wyandotte you can definitely tell he’s a rooster!

    That’s what I was thinking but my hens comb is actually bigger than it’s and I figured by 6 months it would have more hackle.

    Have this black americauna chicken it’s 6 months old now and I can’t tell if it’s a rooster or a hen? It doesn’t have any saddle hackle coming in but it does have some pointy feathers on its neck! But it hasn’t crowed yet but it is a little bigger than my splash hen.

    3 months old the breeder I got them from thinks two pullets. She said some of her hens have very small combs and some have large that’s what makes me think 2 hens and one rooster but I’ll post some better pictures tomorrow

    That’s what I was thinking as well but the feathers look just like my two hens do.
