Rooster or hen?

I have this chicken it’s 12 weeks old what do you guys think? It’s a barnyard mix the rooster was a French weaton maran

I would guess cockerel as well... although it’s pretty old and a hen would start to lay in a few weeks, so I don’t really know..,

It looks older than 12 weeks, but if the age is right, then yes, must be a cockerel.

That’s what I was thinking as well but the feathers look just like my two hens do.

It does look like an older, point of lay pullet. But if it is 12 weeks old then it's a cockerel who hasn't gotten male specific feathering yet.
