    i'd say keep an eye on them for a while. some hens do well protecting and providing for their young, some don't. congrats on the new chickies!

    i would. if you still have the chick feed, i'd buy a bag of layer and just throw both out for them. once the chick feed is gone, just do the layer feed.

    i have no clue. i would think to keep them warm you might want to stick them under the other broody as soon as you could? anyone with experience have an answer??

    i believe you have to have 10 posts before you can upload any pictures. have you tried adding calcium? crush up egg shells or get some oyster shells or something like that and just throw it down for them so they can pick at it when they want it? i have no idea what else it could be caused from...

    It's been eating and drinking for a while now, which I think is a good sign. We got the bantam inside, so they can keep each other company while this one recovers a bit more. We think we're pretty sure we know which of the pullets was the culprit. We removed her from the rest for a while...

    It's stopped breathing so hard now, started to make a little bit of noise, and has come out of the box. As soon as it found the food it started to devour it. lol Hoping this is a good sign.
