    That’s great news! Honestly I was still waiting to for one of the frizzles to go full boy mode. I’ve already got a frizzle male so I’m glad I’ll be keeping them all. I plan on putting the black non-frizz with my frizzle male and keeping the rest together.

    Splash ameraucana chick- leg color question

    That’s interesting because I experienced the same thing. Blue ameraucana roo over a splash girl and the chick came out splash with yellow orange legs. I had to look back at their parents baby photos. The chick is now three days old and I can see the slate color coming in from the top of its legs.

    Oookay thank you! That makes more sense. Unfortunately it was the only one to hatch. Luckily I put a few of my own Oliver egger eggs in incubation with him so he’s not alone. I live in Hawaii and lately I haven’t been having much success with eggs shipped from the states.
