    We just make ours thick enough so that there is no extra fluid.

    Alot people just give away the males. (mostly complimentary when buying a female) When I bought my two females the breeder threw in 7 males she didn't want I think that $25 a hen is a little exorbitant unless you have good quality birds. I am planning on selling some for around $15 and will see...

    The "mystery" chick looks like it has the color pattern of a auto sexing breed, like a Beilefelder of something similar.(I know that they don't sell Beiles but as an example)

    So, what has been going on of interest with relation to your chickens? In my flock I have a batch of chicks almost ready to hatch, and will be able to start pasturing my adults soon!

    Ever heard of dry incubation? there is a article on here about it and it has really helped me improve my hatching!!!

    Agreed. You can call a hybrid just about anything you want. Although most named ones do have specific parents there is often no way you could tell the end results apart. Marshall
