Finished all the coop trim today. I think they enjoyed hanging out with me. I also added the curtain on the door, a latch to hold it open and made the pooper scooper.

It covered easily with a 3" roller. But definitely wear a glove when you do it. Lol I thought about trying to play this into a Halloween costume somehow.
Major update. Chickens in the coop. It's not 100% done and I haven't completed the run but moved them in before the blizzard of 2014 last Saturday lol. (Light dusting of snow, no accumulation)

Bag of sweet PDZ added (easiest part of this thing so far!) and the first taste of the accent colors started.
Both the door and shutters are the same color. The door is just slightly more dry. It will be a deep reddish/burgundy color.
Door painted (interior and edges), storage cover done, poop board, supports and roost in.

Yes it is a mix. I'll get a shot of the contents. That is a great price if that's true. But if have to make that trip while I'm already going. Gas would eat the difference otherwise from Anderson, where I live.
Really nice build overall! Do you happen to have any sketches of the schematics for that solar setup? I really like that you added voltage indicators and kill switches. Also, what type of battery(ies) are you running/type of lights (led 12v?) and how long are you getting without dropping more...
I have Williams layer mash in 50lb bags. Someone gave me a few bags before they moved. My girls love it. I called and spoke with the lady there and she was really nice. She said her son runs it now and I plan to make a trip at least once to get a few more bags when I run low. I don't know about...
