No, don't think it's air. It just got smaller at one point, but it took a little while. I just wonder if an egg got out of place, and got instilled in the front of her breast (if that's at all possible!) I'm afraid to press on it, but maybe I should try, just to see what it feels like.

I have 4 chicks that are 6 months old, too, will they moult in their first year? My two older hens (4 year olds) are moulting right now, but the young ones are not.

Can't wait to get my daily chuckle watching this parade!!! (Glad you have two categories this year . . . seems only fair since the Frizzles look outrageously alien to most breeds at molt, and would have certainly pulled off another win this year.) Looking for the most perplexed and embarrased...
