    The chickens are free range. The attacks occur when they are free ranging in the yard. Can someone please provide comment about what to do with free range chickens. Thank you

    They free range the entire yard during the day. When the Easter Eggers get aggressive, we separate them to the side yard which is 5' wide and 60' long.

    They have our full back yard (50' x 30') and side yard to free range. Our community requires a permit for 5 chickens and the inspector said that there was plenty of room for them. We would never be irresponsible and have too many chickens for our yard.
