My Broody White Leghorn did it!!! (Pics) update
My white leghorn managed just over 2 weeks then that was it didnt want to know! What made it worse is i checked one and they were developing well. Such a shame!- jennibos

My Broody White Leghorn did it!!! (Pics) update
Yay someone who succeeded with a broody leghorn! Its been 6 days so far and shes not budging. Being a trooper! Hardly eaten, her comb is fading fast. Shes sitting on 10 eggs and im hoping, im hoping xx- jennibos

i have 3 new chicks with my maran broodie. I sourced fertile eggs for her to sit on. The maran was sitting on lemon pyle brahma, and another type but cant remember whivh. I know (i think) 2 are lemon pyle brahma but the larger whiter, with dark wings is i think possibley a boy or a different...- jennibos

Good idea with the wood shavings! Think I've read somewhere on here that chucking yr grass clippings on the floor helps too....and the chicks love kicking it round looking for any bugs etc- jennibos
