    I found the most delightfully rotten turkey egg last night.

    Last weekend we emptied the pond in the pen, and found 10! rotten, disgusting duck eggs...eww!

    Lots of ideas thanks a friend of mine suggested yogurt, so i may give that a go today! but i will def keep on trying them with lots of different goodies!

    Hello well 2 days ago, we were watching the chickens from the window when we noticed one of the chickens (Betty) randomly lay an egg outside of the chicken house?! but it had no shell, it was just the membrane! Is there any particular reason for this? they free range most of the day + we give...

    How to prevent foxes from getting in to your coop (Pics):D

    The skirt of chicken wire would work (so that it is lying on the ground a bit), our pen fence is dug partly underground, so a fox would have to dig very far to get under! another way to deter foxes if you have a willing family member that is, is to urinate around the coop, foxes hate it! hey...
