Anyone have any info on hatcheries that are currently running good weekly specials?
If you are not on ideal poultry's weekly email list I would recommend signing up for that.
I was not sure if other hatcheries had any deals going on this time of year that people would like to share.
Thanks
I know that is how is supposed to be but was wanting to see if anyone had any experience with ideal and gotten a batch of 75%-90% males? Or if they truly pick chicks prior to being sexed.
I am wanting to order a batch of standard sized straight run chicks from ideal hatchery in Cameron texas. My self and my father have ordered from them before but never a straight run order. Was wandering What type of male to female ratio I could expect.
Thanks

Anyone have any advice...

Also if they are all the same who has the best deal?
I was not aware that was possible. I figured each hatchery had their own strain that they developed from their own on hand stock.
I will have to look into finding out who has what strain. Will defamatory be worth the time to call or email the major hatcheries and get a list going.
I am doing my research so that when i get ready to buy some meat birds this spring I will have all of this done aready. I am looking to see who has had the best results with the various hatcheries for the Cornish X. I plan on doing the pastured poultry with them.
Not nessasarly looking for the...
