He is small full size chicken, but bigger then bantam size. I have not bred him yet b/c I didn't want naked chicks going into winter.

Are all of the capon kits about the same quality or are there some better than others. I have been wanting to try this for a while just haven't had any extra Roos to do this to. Going to try to add a couple roo chicks to my next hatchery order.

Also if they are all the same who has the best deal?

The chinese kits appear to be similar in quality, somewhat roughly made, but highly effective.
Getting ahold of one is the tricky part.

I think the Chinese tools hands down are the best, the retractor (rib spreader) for sure, nothing else comes in close.
