I think you’re right, I suspected Betty was the crowing one but it turned out to be Mabel😂I had to catch him in the act. Betty is just huge though so she’s still throwing me off I’ll post them (: Betty and mabel do not get along at all by the way legit Mabel will full throttle grab at Betty’s...
Sadly not Betty is crowing full throttle this morning and Mabel has boy feathers entirely like the whole tail and hackle area is long they’re all past 11 weeks now. What are the odds I get 2 out of 4 from a pullet only ben.😭I’m so attached and upset.
Idk😭I mean I read some do crow but it’s rare or something so now I’m concerned I have 2 roosters now, MABEL hasn’t even began to crow yet but Betty just let it rip earlier and I was like “oh lord”
last week I posted about her and everyone said she was a she but I just wanted to know is it normal for a hen of 9 weeks old to crow? Ughhhhhh I really wanted her to be a hen because MABEL turned out to be a boy so idk.
How do you identify the Easter egger is a cockerel? I posted him about a few hours ago because I thought he was too😂but I wanna know like details on how you identified him to be a boy
idk y’all still think Mabel is a female? She’s an Easter egger her tail feathers are turning a greenish color and her comb is really red she started getting a red comb like 3 weeks ago she’s 8 weeks
Y’all I want to believe she’s a female but idk she’s such an a hole and her tail feathers are becoming iridescent green ish color????? She’s an Easter Egger and her comb is shining red.
I guess I just gotta fiesty girl then😂Mabel seemed like the most skittish and screams constantly but she actually is head of the flock besides raven (the black one). Mabel makes sure everyone’s in line and runs up on the others and does the chest thing(I guess it’s the pecking order thing)
