    No Eggs?!?! Advice PLEASE!!

    We had that problem too.... We read on this site to try some crushed red pepper..... Holy Cow!!!! It worked for us and they really like it and also added some extra light..... So far today we have got 5 eggs!!! :)

    Hi, and a question

    We have Australorps and Barred Rocks... Our girls and 1 rooster have awesome personalities and are as friendly as can be. We got them when they were only a day old and were handled lots. Both are great layers.

    Holy huge egg Batman!

    We have gotten 2 huge eggs in the last month. I didn't measure or weigh them, but they were huge!! I forgot to take a picture of the second one and it was even larger..... They were both double yokers.... We must have happy girls; they are Barred Rocks and Austroplorps ....

    Chickens and ice melt

    Hi, Greetings from Washington State. Our patio is slippery this morning and I am wondering if that I put ice melt down, is that going to harm our free range chickens, if they should nibble on it??? Thanks, April
