My 4 day old chick sleeps an awful lot

Is this normal? we're using a heating pad this time around instead of a heat lamp. Her legs are booted and banded together to help with some leg deformities. And she came from a group of 12 or so and now she's an only.

Your chick would greatly benefit from company!! They hate to be alone even after they are grown.

Here's Buffy all booted up. While today she is much more chipper I have yet to find her a chickie friend to keep her company so I put a mirror in her box which seemed to help some. Hopefully someone will contact me through my CL ad with a chick.
