We were never planning to keep any chicks that hatched...they would go to my Mom...but we couldn't let...

    Hi! We're a family of 5 with a small flock in Western Maine. We are looking to add 4 more hens this spring...2 black or white Silkies, 1 Golden-Laced Polish and 1 Blue Hamburg. I'd new to BYC...but does anyone have suggestions on finding chicks? I am having a really hard time finding them...

    ...but thinking ahead to spring! Hi! We're a family of 5 who incubated eggs (twice) in spring of 2011 and ended up with 7 hens and 3 roosters. Our roosters were rehomed nearby to a much larger flock and we sadly lost a hen in October suddenly and unexpectedly. March of 2012 we added 2 Pekin...
