    I have just been notified by my council I'm not aloud to keep cockerels. I can delivery him 15 miles radius of East London area free of charge. He has so lovely, the friendliest out of all my 6 chickens. 10 weeks old. All I want is a good home for him.

    Leaving chicks in the coop

    My chicks are due next Thursday and this is the first time I've had chickens and chicks. Do I have to bring the chicks inside when they hatch or will my broody hen keep them warm? I also have a concern, my nest boxes are quite high off the perch area, will the chicks fall out of the nest...
