    They all look happy and healthy... and act it too, besides the egg laying. "They" are 1 Black copper Maran (hatchery) 2 (EEs hatchery) and the rest are my back yard mix.     I hatched about 30 chicks this spring. Easter to be exact. (4/20/14) none of them are laying and i can't figure out why?? Any thoughts or suggestions?

    "Plucky" (the little black duck hatched sunday night) *not my name choice* went downstairs to do my daily morning check and heard a rukus in the incubator..... Sometime last night little "Presley" hatched!!! Finally!!! For the first time in two months my Incubator is unplugged!!!!

    I have runners ducks.... flightless yes..... however unless if your entire yard is fenced I do not recommend getting runner ducks at all. true to their name they are runners and they are fast!! I can't catch them ha I can't even corner them..... they stay in their pen unless if they get out...
