Hi! Hatching eggs here for my cousin.... I have a 1970s model incubator.... we are in day 4 of egg setting.... day 5 starts in an hour. My "problem" is my incubator lost power (old wires.. quick fix) and was down with out my knowledge for appx 8-12 hours. Will my eggs be ok?? They were cold to touch. I don't have a rooster any more and won't be able to get fertile eggs now :( help? Advice? opinions?

The only way to be sure is to keep incubating and see if you have continued development... It's not necessarily a death sentence...

A drop is temp is a lot better than cooking the eggs with a high temp, and there is no shortage of people that have had very successful hatches after restoring heat and finishing an incubation...

Just be aware that you hatch date might be a day or two later, and hope for the best...
