Help! My quail started hatching today, I have 4 hatched, 2 still in eggs. We got hit with storms and lost power. The power has been out for 6 hours with still no restoration time. What should I do? Is the residual heat and humidity enough to keep them warm? It's probably about 75 degrees in my house but I haven't opened the incubator. It's the kebonnix 12 egg incubator.

Powers back on and they seem to be doing okay ☺️
👍
If this happens more often where you live, I would buy a power station or a small ‘of the grid’ solar system for boats and campers. Something that can be used to charge phones , shine a light and use a few devices that need power.

Glad to hear the power was restored and everything seems to be doing okay.

:idunno I have a large battery backup system for my computer system. Something like that might run your incubator for many hours in a power outage. Might be worth checking into backup power supplies to see if it makes sense for your incubator system.

Thanks I'll definitely look into that!

Of the 4 hatched, 3 made it through the day today, but the one that didn't make it was extremely small and kept getting stuck on his back. The two other eggs didn't hatch. One of the eggs had pipped, but didn't make it out. So I have 3 adorable tiny quail 😍
