    Black Swedish APA Status

    Does anyone know if there is an effort to have black Swedish recognized by the APA? My son has some beauties and I hate that he can't show them.

    Transport crate dimensions

    My son's royal Palm Jenny outgrew her dog carrier. He needs to make a new transport crate for a show next weekend. ThuT will double as his ag mechanics project. All the dimensions I've found say for 4 turkeys. Any suggestions on dimensions for 1?

    Midget Hybrids

    We have two royal Palm hens. They flock with the chickens are very tender to our ducklings and don't mind our not quite 3 year old. My 10 year old shows one of them at Poultry shows and she behaves well. We love them. And I bet there are plenty of local 4-h or FFA kids as backups.

    If you have Bantams, just use surgical masks and toss them in the trash. Ear loops go over wings.

    Standard Jake or Jenny question

    I thought we had a Jake and a Jenny, but not sure now. These guys are 4 months old. One definitely reacts to whistles more than the other. I swear i heard an attempt at a gobble from one of them a couple days ago, but has not been repeated that I've heard.

    My son went to buy a month old frizzle the other day and was crushed to find out it was a roo when we got there. Like a good persuasive son, he talked me in to two baby chicks. They are now 23 days old. Any guesses as to Pullet or Cockerel on either one? I haven't noticed any chest bumping...
