    Ok I see I was just asking because there are commercially produced units that have two 1500 watt elements. I guess that just equals 25 amp s though.

    Well I came in tonight expecting nothing yet since its only day 19 but when my daughter said dad you know you have like 5 chicks hatched. I ran upstairs to check and there they were with a sixth not far behind. All are looking good and totally different than the previous hatch. But same parents...

    I have 40 eggs in lock down. One has hatched and seems to be doing fine. All candled good at day 7 and 14. One more hatched with yolk still attached and has a hernia with 2 inches of intestines hanging from the umbilical area. A second hatched with no yolk visible but still has Intestines...
