    That’s what I have always thought too. Our other prairie bluebell is definitely a pullet and doesn’t have those saddle looking feathers. Maybe she is just a little bit manly 🤪

    Eye issue

    I have not seen any other signs and she has been inside with us in a small cage as she heals. She has been closely monitored. She is eating tons and drinking normally. Sadly, the other eye has a cataract and is blind in it.
