    4 weeks old today... still unclear of sex, but still sporting the "Maggie" name The second photo is our cockerel at the same age last summer.

    I think the satin shells are so pretty! Two of my olive eggers have beautiful color, but a matte shell. These are gorgeous

    I am resisting the urge. We just had a 10% hatch rate on a few Marans eggs. Maybe closer to warmer weather we will try again. I love the colors in your baskets!!!!

    Our little Black Copper Marans, Maggie, was the only to hatch out of 10 eggs. Needless to say she has bonded well with us. :)
