    Thank you for responding. Yes, I think they are hungry, but I have tried every assortment of feed and treats and they like these very briefly. They do range free in my good-sized yard, but still need supplements. I can tell when they are hungry buy the amount of digging they are doing.

    Oh, I am sorry you are going through such an ordeal. She must be in a lot of pain. She is so inflamed - maybe she has an infection. Can you call the vet that is 4 hrs away and see if you can send them the photo. Maybe they can serve you by phone.
