    I wiIl take more pics to give you an idea about our albino triplets. I dont see any color in those three. But I cant tell the difference on not one of the 18, I have left. I sold 7 yesterday to DHs co worker. Kids will be home any minute, gotta run

    Final count. 25/28 Only 3 didnt pip and died. 3 albino chicks all with red eyes. Best hatch ever!:yesss:

    @ Ray Confused...lol. since the day they started hatching. So many colors and combinations. I sold my two ee friday. Now i have three laying hens. And really two of them just turned 24 weeks

    5 more hatched. That brings us to 23. With two albino chicks with red eyes. Lol Two more pipped and are still trying to hatch. So out of 29 set, 23 hatched and counting. Best hatch I ever had.

    Guess what Pa.... My 20 week old Lav Orp rooster crowed for the first time. It sounded like a broken .trumpet I'm so proud of my big boy. ill go upstairs and post a picture.

    Lol, adult hens have red combs and waddles. Still looks like a hen to me.

    Rooster and lav hens are 16 weeks old. My hens that are laying are 1 year and the other two 25 weeamtes. So the answer to my question is yes.....a rooster that is 16 weeks old can mount and successfully mate with my older hens... Did u see the pics... can I start incubating the eggs??

    My kids love The Magic School Bus!! :-) Wow that would be sooo great if they are fertile. So a roostet at 16 weeks can do his thing?. I only have 3 laying hens none are lavs, they are 16 weeks too.

    To me , it looks like 3 hens and a rooster. Try an up close picture of waddles and combs. I have 8 lavenders.

    have you tried to candle the eggs? that's the best way I know how. I would assume that your eggs have died, but im no expert. After candling your eggs and your still unsure , put one in a a Ziploc baggie and carefully break it open, usually you can tell what week your little chicks may have...
