Moved into a new house, blank Slate in the backyard trying to design right now my vegetables, but I need to figure out where to put the chickens only a small 4 to 6 birds
First time harvesting in long time. I need a little clarity on the understanding once the bird is completely clean before you put it in the bag, I have read different folks do that part differently. Some soaking water before bagging some air dry before bagging. I’m confused.
That’s what I was wondering, skipping the brooder and put them right into the chicken Tractor since they grow so fast? I live in Missouri temps at nite 60’s no other chicks than the meat birds
It’s only myself and I only have two chickens due to loss. My question is can I add 3 hens an odd number? Or will it work better with only 2 keeping the flock to a even number? I am concerned the third bird would be the odd women out and by herself, 4x4 coop- lots of outside run space. Tia
The other day I came home to the find the chickens hovering in the coop and one hiding in a small corner. There was a cluster of feathers on the ground. I noticed this hole in the ground and something about the size of a large fat rabbit, grey/brownish color

Thanks everyone.... I. Knew they wouldn't lay but last year it didn't seem this long without. I am a fan of letting them rest their bodies. I was really concerned about their combs looking so pale. Cool, I learn so much here thank y ou.
