Yes. And that's the basics? Person local said pull the wing outward, if there's a row of short feathers on inner section at the top, it's a hen. May try that too. Thank u!

Have 12 week old SL Wyandotte chicks. I look at them trying to figure out the sex . The more I look the more I'm confused. And they won't cooperate either. Will try a few more later. Please help.

Three 16 wk old chicks out of a barred rock hen and a Black sex link roo which is a barred rock also. Difficult to get good pictures...so active. Thanks for any help.
