    Wyandotte or Barnevelder?

    I’m not sure if the name. I’m in CA. We had a chick quarantine/disease problem when I got them and we could not transport chicks very far. So it’s a smaller hatchery local - not a big one.

    She’s in a coop with 5 other chickens and she is the most nervous around people. Others eat out of our hands and she hangs back.

    WAs sold to me as an olive egger day old chick by my local feed store but clearly it is not. Lays a “normal“ color light brown egg Wynadotte with a single comb? Or Barnevrlder? And what color?

    That was my thought - the first year maybe a mistake, but the same mistake two years in a row? Strange. At the feed store they thought it was going to be a white egg too. I’ve never chatted with anyone else that has this breed
