    Hi The other day I ask people if I had a boy or girl? Everyone said pullet. She is 11 weeks old and the last two mornings she has crowed along with my silkie roosters. So is this normal for girls to crow? :D

    HEllo I'm new to your site but not new to chickens. I have 2 lovely commercial hens, 2 silkie roosters and my new little chick which was my first ever hatch, and he/she is an Appenzeller Spitz. I spend most days hanging out with my chickens, digs, cats and guinea pig

    Hi everyone, This is my first Appenzeller Spitz. I hatched him/her myself. Some days I think boy some days I think girl. He/she is 11 weeks old. There are wattles forming and little horns on the head at the front of the Mohawk. Be great to get other people's thoughts.
