The other day I ask people if I had a boy or girl? Everyone said pullet.

She is 11 weeks old and the last two mornings she has crowed along with my silkie roosters.

So is this normal for girls to crow?

Yes, it is clearly a cockerel. Crowing is one big sign, but also a pullet at 11 weeks would be unlikely to have wattles that large or colorful, and its legs are also quite thick.

Definitely a cockerel with those wattles that big at that age. My Spitzhauben boys began crowing at 7 weeks. I sold 2 boys, kept one and 2 pullets. All their crests were black at first, but the boys' crests turned completely white later.

He was the only egg we had hatch so he has always been with me.

HE is my little dude not dudette lol
