    hi byc, i hatched out this cockeral from a blue egg but am wondering which breed it is, it has a brown tint to the end of its wings with a blue shine on its feathers and some white colouring around its head, im lead to think its a americauna cross but would like to know what, many thanks

    i have had copper, wheaton, blue and cuckoo marans:-) ive never heard of the coronation sussex but ive had speckled, light and buff sussex

    Question about a broody hen

    How many eggs has she got under her? maybe theres to many so she can't hatch them all out or usally a hen will kick out any eggs which arnt any good/not fertile but she shouldnt be kicking out a few, id leave the ones shes hatching underneath her and try the rest in the incubator, happy hatching

    cleaning every 2-3 days is absolutely fine! especially with 4 chicks
