sebbie leg band size
not a fan of banding, but it comes with the territory ---everything about sebbies seems to be a little chubbier --- for those of you who band, what size is most comfortable and permanent for the birds? goose and gander? thanks! -

thank you... few questions regarding genetics on these guys... my understanding (right, wrong, or in need of a tweak) has always been that splash hatch out white and they 'go splash' as they mature... i'm wondering how the dark splash fit in here with the whole blue/black/splash scenario...- johnskoi

honestly, i am NOT a fan of it, but i NEED to do it... i plan on becoming NPIP and it comes with the territory... when i moved from NY to VA over 2 yrs ago, i was required to have my birds tested for both AI and pullorum -- tests were clean ... while i respect the people who banded the birds... -

i know we call them them fart eggs when a young hen is starting to lay and you get that first egg or two that is super small in comparison to what we expect (and usually yolkless) --- i've seen it in my geese and chickens somewhat frequently, but i think it may be my first pea fart --- i may... -

sun, thank you so much! before i ship another egg, i will be tested for AI and pullorum to CONFIRM that my flock is negative... i'm not sure how above board i will go from there.... but i WILL be honest about whichever route i take .... in the back of my mind i'm thinking about excluding...- johnskoi
