    I don't know the issue with the pics... but it just looks exhausted and keeps wanting to sit on its haunches. Also i've administered some electrolyte and sugar water via syringe and just standing by now.

    I drove 2 hours and picked up 3 self blue d'Uccle chicks 2-3 weeks old when I got home this little fellow doesn't seem to be doing well ive forced him to drink water and offered him food. hes not eating or drinking on his own. I don't know what to do next??

    I actually just stored them at room temp in our kitchen and rotated them daily. My wife just reminded me that we have a shipment of day olds coming 2 days before these are supposed to hatch!!

    Survival rate of baby chicks?

    I have ordered baby chicks on numerous other occasions and had a 100% survival rate..... but this last week I received a shipment of 26 Mille Fleur d'Uccle bantams and had 6 DOA, 3 died before I made it home and another a few hours later... they apparently had a tough time in-transit though...

    I am supposed to call them Monday morning to give them a final loss count which so far is still standing at 9 and I believe that is what happened to them is they got to hot in-transit...... but the good news I fed them 2 chopped boiled eggs in addition to sugar water since yesterday and so far...
