With the flushes, do you syringe feed them or just allow them to drink it on their own?

Someone described it to me as Pekin ADD. Many, not all, lose interest in their nest pretty quick. They will lay all their eggs and then begin the "sitting" process for all of the eggs at the same time. But, there is a good chance she won't sit on her nest. But, I'm not sure how to " encourage"...

This duck looked like she was walking on her tip toes. Then she would stick her butt out like she was going to poop but didn't. Then, she spread her wings and seemed to fall forward or just give up and lay down. She looks like she's been bred pretty hard. Any thoughts???
