Time ... is the problem. I have to work too. It costs me money if I don't work and instead, wait for a cat to show so what? I run after it? Try and catch it? People make sure their dogs are IN at night whilst cat owners put their cats OUT and have no idea what they're up to when they're away...- JonInNorway

What I hate most is I know there was some really rare and valuable DNA destroyed. Anyone can keep rare breeds alive under lights feeding them rubbish in rooms but these were as healthy and vital as anything on the planet and they're gone .... for what? I'm in Norway, I have Eagles, Owls. Hawks, Foxes etc. nearby but am 90% certain a neighbour's cat has just killed at least 4 of the rare breeds I've been trying to preserve plus a chick earlier in the summer.
