Yeah i know i have been talking to myself. But all the information i got was from old threads so i figure it can't hurt to throw out information for the next person.
Alot of people have looked at this thead but no replies? Anyways, i think that a large part of the problem was that this chicken gets stressed way too easily and he was getting picked on by my other chicks. After a week of being isolated, daily cleaning and disinfecting he is doing much better...
Okay, so I have been searching and searching, and i am pretty sure this is an extreme case of vent gleet. Treatment will start tomorrow with an epsom salt butt bath, some yogurt, and iodine, and some anti-fungal cream. I have also read that garlic in the water may help and will try that.
I just posted a similar problem, except my poor guys but is all pussy looking. I really want to help him, but i don't know what to do for him. As of now he is isolated from the others and I am trying to keep it as clean as I can.
