    Found two light green eggs yesterday. They were not in the nest boxes so I think at least one had been there a few days. Only one ee hen left to lay.

    Found egg # 3 today. Looks like both the rir are laying still no eggs from the ee.

    Thanks. The egg was as hard as a store bought egg. We use Dumor poultry layer pellets from tractor supply. We also let the chickens free range all day. That is all we do for them.

    Yesterday my wife found our first eggs. I believe it was from one of our RIR. We got day olds from tractors supply the last week of Feb. Two RIR and two EE hens. Yesterday was the first egg we have seen. Very excited.

    Below you will see two pictures of a TSC EE bought at the begining of the month. This chick is about 3.5 weeks old in the picture. Can any body tell me if this is a male or female? This is my first try at chickens and so far so good. If you need better pictures or i'm trying to sex to early...
